Míla connects fiber on Cruise ships

Last june two of Míla´s employees took a trip to Akureyri to connect fiber in the Cruise ship Mona Lisa which had made a short stop there. The work was for a company named On-Waves which had contacted Míla looking for cooperation with fiber connections in cruise ships and ferries, for the company. The reason On-Waves came to Míla for this project is the wide experience an knowledge Míla has in telecommunications. There will be several projects following this one, and this summer, two of Míla’s employees will travel to France and connect fiber on board the Cruise ship MSC Serenata.

On-Waves is a leading company in wireless mobile network communications and enables GSM and CDMA coverage on board both ships and jets and provides both passengers and crew members mobile connections while on open sea or in air.
